This written contract represents any verbal agreement entered into by either party. Any cancellation of the agreement may only take place by mutual consent and must be made in writing. No telephone cancellations are acceptable.
The contract (one copy) must be returned to the above address, signed and dated, with any agreed deposit. Deposits and/or contracts not returned within 10 days from the agreement date will render the booking as cancelled and the entertainer(s) reserves the right to accept other offers. Any amendments to the agreement must be requested, agreed mutually and in writing.
Any deposits non-refundable (unless see clause 4). In some cases a deposit is not required.
If the entertainer(s) is unable to fulfil the engagement through illness or accident, he/she must make contact immediately with the management. The managementmay request any such proof. On the rare occasion where the entertainer(s) cancels the contract any deposits will be refunded to the management within 7 days of cancellation.
Entertainment for children. An adult (21 +) must be in the venue at all times during the performance.
The entertainer(s) is not responsible for delays inaccess to the venue or performing area & for any power failure beyond his/her control. If the venue is not on the ground floor, extra time may be required to set up. The management must inform the entertainer(s) if extra time may be needed.
In the unlikely event the entertainer(s) are delayed from starting a performance due to events beyond the entertainer(s) control, the management is still liable for the full fee.
Responsibility will not be accepted by the entertainer(s) for damage to personnel or their belongings if guests touch any of the entertainer’s equipment however every attempt to safeguard is assured. The management within 14 days of performance must pay all damages to any props incurred by their guests.
Where the performance is an open-air event, the management is responsible for the safeguard of the entertainer(s) and any equipment. The entertainer(s) is not responsible for the weather. The entertainer(s) has the right to withdraw from a performance where the weather may affect the event; if this is the case the management are still liable to the full fee.
The entertainer(s) are responsible for their own tax & NI contributions.
Payment on the day is required unless otherwise agreed. Payment by Cheque is accepted, but carries a £3.00 charge unless otherwise agreed.
The entertainer(s) will not perform within 100 metres of any inflatable device ie: Bouncy Castle/inflatables.
For the enjoyment of guests attach all balloons to the walls or ceilings. Not all guests enjoy balloons.
